TechOWL is a grant funded program that helps Pennsylvanian's access assistive technology solutions for no cost. Do you need to trial different options? Loan out any piece of assistive technology from their Lending Library to test out devices before you buy. Do you need a phone that accommodates your disability? Check out their Free Phone Program to apply for a landline or smart phone. TechOWL has local representatives to help educate and train you on new equipment and best fit solutions. Enhancing local resources, services & programing for people with disabilities
Inglis is an organization whose mission is to support individuals living with disabilities and older adults to live their fullest lives. The Inglis Innovation Center Pittsburgh is the homebase of three community services: Inglis Assistive Tech Solutions (IATS), 3D Printing and R&D Lab, and the Inglis Impact Accelerator. IATS is our community-based Assistive Technology (AT) program offering assessment, training, and ongoing support for people with disabilities and older adults to use AT to enhance their independence. Examples of Assistive Technology that IATS assists with includes smartphone/tablet access, computer access, smart home tech and environmental controls, adaptive gaming, and digital literacy.
